i love listening to music of all kinds! i don't really understand genres, i just listen to whatever sounds good to me, but a lot of what i like is in the realm of midwest(/5th wave) emo, indie rock, indie pop, folk punk, pop punk, nu metal, metalcore, and hyperpop. i think the only music genre i really HATE is classic rock, but i love modern rock lol. basically i think i just like new things :-p

for a long time i was using spotify to listen to music but i had a lot of issues with the choices the company was making, plus it's a lot of money, so i recently(ish) switched to downloading mp3s and listening to music locally! i was hesitant to move away from streaming because i listen to a wide variety of music and love discovering new things, but it's actually not been too bad. feel free to reach out if you want tips on how to make the switch :-)
