currently growing: basil, tomatoes, coriander, arugula, lettuce, mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley, dill, scallions, chives, shiso, and more :-)

i don't actually know everything growing in my garden because a lot of stuff just shows up randomly hehe. the dirt is full of seeds from over the years so i get little surprise sprouts a lot, i also planted a bunch of expired seeds and forgot what they were so i just find out when/if they grow! i specifically bought coriander seeds and planted them with a little marker (the only one lmao) but i haven't seen them grow yet. the area is full of a ton of random sprouts so maybe some of them are actually coriander and i just can't tell? i'm also starting the shiso from seed indoors right now!! very excited to have shiso in my garden :3

today i made a chive butter with chives from the garden. i love herb butters, i think they're really nice and easy to do when you have an herb garden! i also love making fun lemonade flavors. i've made basil lemonade and mint lemonade, and those are really good. i had shiso lemonade once from a cafe (seasonal / limited time drink), but now that i'm growing my own shiso so i can finally have it again!
